Corballa NS Parents Association was established in 2009. Its role has been to:
- Act as a liason between parents and the school.
- Organise low cost social activities for both children and parents e.g. Halloween Parties, Talent Shows, Parent Information Talks.
- Assist in fundraising activities for the school e.g. this year helped raise money towards the new graded reading system for our children.
The Department of Education Whole School Evaluation in 2011 praised the work of the association and highlighted the importance of having a Parents Association. All the research shows that children whose parents are involved in their education at school and in the community achieve more.
